Shirlene Zammit

Age 81. Beloved wife of the late Ronald John Zammit. Loving partner of Jimmy Ozment. Dearest mother of Steve (Heather), Robert (Karen), Yvonne (Mark), David (Penny), Edwin, and John (Kelli). Dear grandmother of Briana (Kyle), Cory, Meghan, Brian (Kelly), Ashley (Scott), Cody, the late Ethan, Avery, and Christopher. Caring great grandmother of Emma, Eva, Brian, Owen, Gideon, Emmett, and Jasper.

Visitation Thursday November 14, 2019 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Shirlene enjoyed travelling, and after her children were grown, she and her husband Ron, travelled to various places, such as Aruba, Jamaica, Florida , and St. Maarten, to name a few. Sometime after her husband passed, she joined a volleyball team, which was something she enjoyed throughout her life. There, she found happiness with her longtime partner, Jim. Together, they continued to travel, often for volleyball tournaments. They had many friends, and fun with their volleyball 'family', which our mother enjoyed tremendously. When she became ill, Jim was always at her side, for which the family is ever so grateful. She will be missed for the once vivacious woman that she was. May God open his doors for her so that she will always have a place to stay in her life ever after. At the Mass on Friday November 15th, at 8:00 a.m., at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Lincoln Park an intention for the prayers of the faithful will be dedicated to Shirlene.
