Sophie Perkins

Age 81. Beloved wife of the late Clayton Perkins. Loving mother of Steven (Sandra) Peetz, Warren (Laura) Peetz, Michael (Linda) Peetz, Paul (Vicky) Peetz, Darlene (Patrick) Enloe, Chris (Sharon) Peetz and Ken (Kelly) Peetz. Dearest sister of Jean (the late Jim) Wehling and Mike (Ilene) Rogala. Dear grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Sophie enjoyed doing crafts, spending time with family, sewing, playing bingo, going up north and trying her luck on the lottery and at casinos.

Visitation Monday August 24, 2020 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Solosy Funeral Home. Lying instate Tuesday August 25, 2020 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church ( 19624 Wood Street, Melvindale, MI 48122). Cremation is to take place after services. Due to the Governor's Executive Orders we are only permitted to allow 10 people in the funeral home at any given time and face masks/face coverings are mandatory in the funeral home.
