Stephen Luis Romero

It is with profound sadness that the family of Stephen Luis Romero announces his death on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the age of 33 years.

Beloved husband of Ashly Romero. Proud father of Enicio, Abrianna, Miguel, and Myanna. Loving son of Carmen Romero and Stuart (Ty) Tooles. Dear brother of Amanda (Sergio) and Brandon. Dearest uncle of Mya, Sergio, and Emily. Forever missed by countless other family members and friends.

Stephen was born on September 17, 1990. His family fondly remembers Stephen by the ways in which he lived life. Stephen's kind and generous heart guided him every day. The empathy he demonstrated for others was never lacking when he knew someone truly needed help. When someone in his family or a friend needed encouragement, he was right there to be their strength and cheer them on with zeal. Stephen loved spending time with people, especially his cousins. His friendly, outgoing personality allowed him to interact with anyone. He adored kids and finding him playing on the floor was a regular occurrence. Stephen also had a soft side for animals. Over the years, he cherished many dogs and cats. Silly selfies with beloved pets were never lacking. His beloved cat, Goliath, would even like to sit on his head.

Stephen worked hard and enjoyed life. When he wasn't working, Stephen enjoyed listening to various genres of music. Recently, he picked up playing the game of golf. Swinging clubs with his cousins throughout the warmer months was something he looked forward to doing whenever he could.

Stephen will be sincerely missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023  1:00 – 8:00 PM.  Rosary and a time for sharing memories will begin at 6:00 PM.

Visitation will continue on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Woodmere Cemetery.
