Steve Nagy

Age 92 of Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of the late Goldie Nagy. Loving father of Mary Nagy, Julia (Stephen) Slane, and Steve (Denise) Nagy II. Dear son of the late Joseph and Theresa Nagy. Dearest grandfather of Elizabeth Slane, Michael Slane, and Emily Nagy. Preceded in death by his siblings Julia Csordas, Mary Vezeou, Floyd Toth, James Toth, Joseph Nagy, and Alexander Nagy. Steve was born in Glen Alum, West Virginia where is father worked in the coal mines for over 40 years. Not wanting to work in the coal mines, Steve moved to the Delray area of Detroit and worked for the Ford Motor Company for 50 years before retiring in 1991. He married the love of his life, Goldie Nagy, on November 10, 1945, and together they had 3 children. He belonged to St. Henry's Church of Lincoln Park until they closed in 2014.

Visitation Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at the funeral home. Instate Friday 11:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (1540 Riverbank, Lincoln Park). Interment Woodmere Cemetery.
