Theresa grew up in Detroit alongside her seven siblings, where she learned the values of family, togetherness, and resilience. She met the love of her life in her hometown, and together they shared an incredible 42 years of marriage, building a family and a life rooted in joy and loyalty. Among her most cherished memories were marrying her beloved husband and welcoming their four beautiful children into the world.
A devoted mother, Theresa was blessed with Christina, Stacy, Frederick Jr., and Pebbles. Her legacy of love continues through her 15 grandchildren—Jasmine, Davalos, Ethan, Alyssa, Kevin, Micheal, Gregory, Natalia, Najah, Nylah, Theodore, Benjamin, Emma, Kameron, and Kallie—who brought her endless joy, and through whom her light will continue to shine.
Theresa was known for her funny, goofy personality and her loving, caring heart. She had a way of making everyone around her feel special, always doing what she could to support her family. She especially adored time spent with her grandchildren, finding her greatest happiness in their presence. A lover of simple pleasures, Theresa enjoyed trips to the casino, family gatherings, and moments filled with laughter.
Those who knew her will remember her as a woman of warmth, humor, and devotion—a constant source of love and encouragement. To her family, she was not just a mother and grandmother, but also a best friend, a guiding light, and the heart of the home.
