Born Timilyn Martha Kaven in Wyandotte on July 27, 1963. Welcomed into Heaven on July 23, 2012 after succumbing to injuries received in an August 21, 2011 accident. Beloved wife of Louis Katsaros, loving mother of Natalie and Katie. Timilyn is also survived by her mother Rose and father Eddie, her brothers Edwin and Matthew, cousins, in-laws, and countless friends. An ever-proud Hungarian, Timilyn enjoyed shopping, Diet Coke, taking pictures, and spending time with her girls. Her sweet demeanor made her the mother that every child wanted, and she often played on the grass as one of them. She was known to hide her gothic side, especially while working for the Federal Court system, but she never hid her smile. A real-life "Snow White," her memory will live on through her girls, and we will continue to be reminded of her beauty every time we see a pair of big, black sunglasses.
Visitation Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Hungarian Church (8423 South Street, Detroit). She will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Cemetery (135 Superior Blvd, Wyandotte).
