It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Stout-Brunswick, who left us on June 8, 2024, at the age of 54. Born on February 14, 1970, in Southfield, Michigan, Todd was the beloved son of Christine Brunswick-Frabotta and the late Maurice Brunswick.
Todd is survived by his cherished wife, Emily Stout-Brunswick, whom he loved dearly and adored. His legacy lives on through his children: Khayman Brunswick, Raglan Brunswick, Lasher Brunswick, Magnus Brunswick, Rowan Stout-Brunswick, Remy Stout-Brunswick, and the late Vienna Stout-Brunswick. He is also survived by his sister, Hollie Megenity-Snider, and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Brunswick.
A devoted father, Todd was known for his unwavering love and dedication to his children. He was always available for them, providing unconditional love and support. His gentle and kind nature touched everyone who knew him.
Todd was a dedicated mentor in Alcoholics Anonymous, always ready to help others on their journey to sobriety. He found joy in hiking, walking, and immersing himself in nature, especially during the pre-dawn and post-twilight hours. He had a deep appreciation for wildflowers, enjoyed playing soccer, and was an adrenaline enthusiast.
Todd had a passion for directing and producing movies. He loved the artistry of David Lynch and took inspiration from his filmmaking. His favorite films included "Love Actually" and "Creature from the Black Lagoon". He treasured watching "Mystery Science Theatre" with his kids and shared his love for music by singing "Me and Bobby McGee" to them when they were young.
His love for music extended to bands like The Cars and The Doors. He adored Janis Joplin so much that he lovingly named his motorcycle after her. An espresso enthusiast with a dry, fantastic sense of humor, Todd was known for his high IQ and vast knowledge on a variety of topics. Emily often declared that he was the smartest person she knew.
A special highlight of last summer was the reunion of all Todd's living children, who gathered together for the first time since 2019, creating precious memories.
Todd's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom will continue to inspire us all.
