Troy Arthur Davis

The family of Troy Arthur Davis, of Trenton, is saddened to announce his passing on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the age of 47 years.

Troy was born on September 6, 1976. He is the beloved son of Doris Davis and the late Arthur Troy Davis. Dear brother of Jerry (Tiffany) Davis and Matthew Joseph (Lauren) Davis. Caring uncle of William Jack Lezotte, Eva Ann Davis, Jared Alan Davis, Titus Matthew Davis, Ian Edward Davis, and Noel Grace Davis.

Troy's life revolved around the people and things he loved. Since he was young, Troy had an intense interest in sports. Sometimes when his parents were away, he would convince his brothers to play indoor basketball or football. You can imagine the sight when the competitive chaos among three brothers ensued, but it was there among the walls, and maybe even a few broken items, that cherished childhood memories where made. Troy's love of sports continued into adulthood. He spent countless hours watching college and professional teams battle it out in hard fought games. In his personal time, you could often find him enthroned in his beloved man cave. Before the passing of his dad, father and son would regularly spend time watching sports or UFC fights on the big screen with snacks in hand. When the crisp autumn air crept in, Troy proudly displayed his devotion as die-hard Michigan football fan by watching every game. He could not be contained when his team won the national championship game. They finally got their "Natty."

Troy was a private person but enjoyed being around the people he loved. He deeply cared about the people he worked with, his close friends, and especially his family. Troy will be sincerely missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 1:00 PM until time of service at Solosy Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 PM.
