Viola Grace Hussen

The family of Viola Grace Hussen is saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the age of 96 years.

Beloved mother of Emma (Robert), Bonnie (Gary), Greg (Noreen), and Margie (Billy). Dearest grandmother of Fred (Brenda), Chris (April), Emily (Jim), John, Heather, David, and McKinley (Jennifer). Loving great-grandmother of Ashley, Jason, Veronica, CJ, Malek, Mason, Miriam, Rebecca, Madison, Emma, Maja, Taylor, Jack, Noelle, Finley, and Spencer. Dear great-great-grandmother of James, Daxton, Declan, Madeline, and Kaycee.

Viola came from "good stock," which set the tone for a life filled with love and care for those around her. For over 30 years, Viola worked hard as a real estate closing officer. This enabled her to help many people navigate the complexity of buying and selling. She was a proud supporter of the Girl Scouts of America organization. For 30 years Viola served in many roles including a trainer. Viola enjoyed many different hobbies. She was an avid quilter and helped introduce others to the artform as a certified quilt-in-a-day instructor. Not only was she a quilter, but she was a gifted artist in various forms. Outdoor hobbies were also special to Viola. She relished the times she went camping with family and friends. More than anything she loved the Lord her God with all her heart, soul, and mind. Viola served as a dedicated member of Rivers of Living Water Ministries.

Viola will be sincerely missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 12:00 PM until the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home.

Interment at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, MI.
