Wayne Allen Bufford Sr., a beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, at the age of 72. Wayne was born on April 27, 1953, and spent his life making lasting memories with those who knew him.

Wayne is survived by his wife of almost 30 yrs, Pam Bufford. Their relationship began as friends 18 years prior and grew into a profound partnership built on love, trust, and mutual respect.

Wayne is survived by his children, Wayne Bufford Jr., Heather Mae, and Tyra (Jimmy) Watts, who will carry on his memory. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Destiny Watkins, Tyler Watts, Jaxon Watts, Rylie Watts, and Macie Watts. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Wayne's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, as they remember his playful spirit, his unwavering support, and the profound love he had for them all.

In addition to his immediate family, Wayne is survived by his siblings: Angie (Harry) Waldrup, Bill Bufford, Shirley Bufford, Steve (Janice) Bufford, and Loretta Yarbro. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Tim Bufford, Danny Bufford, and Sammy Bufford. The Bufford family was deeply close-knit, and Wayne's passing leaves a void in their hearts, yet they will forever cherish the times they spent together.

Wayne was a man who loved the simple pleasures in life. It was clear that music was a source of joy and comfort for him. His love of coffee and TV shows provided him with moments of relaxation and contentment. Among his favorites—eagles, roosters, and riding his motorcycle—were symbols of his free spirit and passion for life's adventures. A true animal lover, Wayne also shared his life with two loyal pets, Tucker and Oki, whose companionship brought him great happiness.

His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Wayne's private cremation is taking place in the care of Solosy Funeral Home.
