Age 73 of Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of Cecelia Radiger. Loving father of Katherine (Mark) Stegbauer, Karen (Scott) Graham, and William (Marie-Louise) Radiger Jr. Dearest grandfather of Brandon (Michelle), Ryan, Alex, Austin, and Erik. Dear great grandfather of Caillou and Lily. Preceded in death by his siblings Tom Radiger, Jack Radiger, and Louise Perry and his grandchild Baby Radiger. Bill loved his wife, children, grandchildren, Nascar, and strawberry ice cream (Not necessarily in that order). He never left home without sweatpants with pockets, a racing t-shirt and a baseball hat (of which he had hundreds to pick from). Except for those times he wore the stylish camo or rainbow striped suspenders. Bill loved "playing" in the garage; taking things apart, but in recent years lacked the forethought to put them back together. Including the snow blower in 500 parts that he sold for $5 at a garage sale. A Sunday afternoon was not complete without a Nascar race or football game. Bills weekday choice for TV was T.V. Land – Not in H.D. Bill loved coaching his kids in sports and watching his grand kids play and never hesitated to correct the Ref or Umpires on a bad call and more than once getting excused from the game along with Bill Jr. And we're sure we will never stop finding his old scratched off lottery tickets.
Visitation Wednesday 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Thursday 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a 3:30 p.m. Rosary at the funeral home. Instate Friday 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (1540 Riverbank, Lincoln Park). Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to The Nascar Foundation (
